Anaconda vs. miniconda

In the Anaconda repository, there are two types of installers:

"Anaconda installers" and "Miniconda installers".

What are their differences?

Besides, for an installer file, Anaconda2-4.4.0.1-Linux-ppc64le.sh, what does 2-4.4.0.1 stand for?
